Once we took the plunge into cooking Honey's food, we made major strides with her yeasty smell. Her ears look and smell 10x's better! Her skin, however, is another beast of its own. She is still missing patches of hair under her neck and on top of her front paws only. I have started to believe she is allergic to something environmental. Her skin is also hot to the touch. To make her more comfortable, I made her some paw wipes with essential oils.
What you will need:
- 1 drops Frankincense
-1 drops Copaiba
-1 drops Peppermint
-2 drops Thieves
-2 drops Lavender
-10 sheets of paper towels cut in half (makes about 20 wipes)
-2 cups of distilled water (you can make your own distilled water by bringing your water to a rolling boil for a full minute)
-something to put your wipes in
Step 1: Combine essential oils in a bowl. Add in the two cups of water while mixing the essential oils.
Step 2: Pour mixture over wipes. NOTE: It is very important to immediately pour the mixture over the wipes so it does not separate!
Step 3: Wipe paws! Easy as pie.
Y'all, they are also portable. Stick them in a plastic baggy and you're good to go!
